Aaron Brodeur (b. 1983) is a multidisciplinary artist based between Boston and Cape Cod. His practice spans painting, sculpture, and hybrid forms, often shaped by instinct, material curiosity, and the accumulation of imagery and ideas. Drawing on personal mythology, cultural references, art history, and psychological nuance, Brodeur’s work reflects a restless search for meaning through shifting forms, layered surfaces, and unexpected combinations.
He received his BFA with distinction from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth in 2009, and was awarded a residency at the DNA Artists Residency in Provincetown, MA in 2024. His work has been exhibited at the Fitchburg Art Museum, Cape Cod Museum of Art, Boston Sculptors Gallery, Worcester State University, Attleboro Arts Museum and numerous galleries and institutions. His work is held in private collections including the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard.
